Can you design a logo for a pan-european company?


A successful online search engine is looking for designers with fresh ideas to design a logo for a new brand.

International Contest - Gartoo logo



Creative Brief:


Gartoo is going to be a highly customizable search engine for online classified ads. There will be several categories for ads, for instance property, jobs, cars, etc. The users will be able to influence the look and feel and the functionality of Gartoo.


We would like to give a talented student or a professional designer the chance of creating a logo for Gartoo. The contest itself is a great chance for the winner to get international exposure of their work. Our company has already created a successful property search engine but Gartoo will be a new separate brand.


We suggest your design of the logo to be clean and simple. It is important that the word "Gartoo" is perfectly legible. Gartoo will very much adapt to what users expect from a vertical search engine so we would like that the logo conveys some form of movement or change. We suggest that the double "o" could be used to confer some idea of movement to the logo.
